Payment
A valid debit or credit card is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation with us. (Sorry, but we do not accept American Express.)
A £25 deposit will be taken at the time of booking to secure your stay. Please note that the balance will automatically be taken from the same card on the morning of your arrival unless prior arrangements have been agreed.
Arrivals and Departures
Check in between 16.00 and 18.00.
Check out by 10.00 (11am in Great Burnet and Willow Cottage upon request)
Cancellations
When you book with Harmony House, you are entering into an agreement with us. However, we understand that unforeseen circumstances do occur and we ask that you contact us as soon as possible should this be the case.

For cancellations more than 30 days in advance: full refund minus £10 processing fee.

For cancellations made between 30 days and 7 days in advance: 50% payment of full stay is due.

For cancellations made less than 7 days in advance and for non-arrivals: full payment is due and we reserve the right to take payment from the card details issued at booking.
If you curtail your stay once commenced you will be charged for the whole stay.
Additional Items
Payment for additional items, such as additional food and beverages, purchased during your stay, can be made by cash or credit/debit card, or charged to your room.
Please note that we are a licensed premises and stock a small number of alcoholic beverages and canned and bottled soft drinks, which are available to purchase during your stay.
We politely request, in line with the UK licensing laws, that you do not bring your own alcohol for consumption on the premises.
We respectfully ask that you do not take your own food up into the bedroom for consumption. You may dine in the guest lounge or Garden Room, when available.
Smoking Policy
We have a strict no-smoking policy throughout the premises and if it is ignored we reserve the right to charge £50 to your card for additional cleaning.
Access Statement
Access to Harmony House Boutique B&B and Willow Cottage:
When you arrive at Harmony House take a short walk along the pavement to the front gate.
Harmony House is very old and although it has been modernised from a residential house and cottage, it still has a number of small steps and has some low beams throughout the property.
To access the main guest house and Garden Room, there are three steps halfway along the path to the front door. From the entrance porch there is a step down into the hall and 9 stairs plus another 3 to 6 stairs to the bedrooms. There is also a small step into the Poppy room and 2 larger steps into the Cornflower room. If you are over 6’ 2” tall, please note that the Poppy room has sloping ceilings and open beams to be mindful of.Harmony Tea Room has a small step at the threshold.
Access to Willow Cottage is by the public footpath lane at the righthand side of Harmony House. The entrance is to the rear of Harmony House through glass French Doors. The stairs to the bedroom are narrow and have a 90 degree turn halfway up. People over 5’10” tall need to be aware that the bedroom roof slopes to this height in its lowest section.
We cannot accept children in the main house and we cannot accept pets. However, both children and well-behaved dogs are welcome in Willow Cottage upon prior arrangement
Pet Policy
For Harmony House Boutique B&B and Willow Cottage:
Our pet policy pertains only to dogs staying in Willow Cottage. We regret that we are unable to accommodate other pets in Willow Cottage, or indeed pets of any kind to stay within Harmony House itself.
Up to two well-behaved dogs may join you for your stay in Willow Cottage at an additional fee of £30 per dog per stay.
Please read through the following to help us look after you, our property and the surrounding area:
We politely request that you would keep your dogs off our furniture and out of the bedroom.
Please do not leave dogs unattended in Willow Cottage, unless you can be certain they will not be distressed or destructive. We do reserve the right to charge for any damages caused by your pet.
Do keep dogs on a lead or under control whilst walking through the surrounding farmland. The farmers are kind enough to allow us to walk upon the myriad of public footpaths in the countryside, so please do so respectfully. Please look at the Countryside Code if you are not familiar with it. We want our local farm animals and your pet to be safe at all times.
Please do pick up any dog mess and dispose of it appropriately.
Many of the cafes and restaurants in the area are dog friendly, but do call them to check before visiting them, as some may have certain restrictions in place.
We supply dog bowls, doggy treat biscuits, some poo bags and a towel for those wet paws. These are located on the trunk within the entrance of Willow Cottage.

Free WiFi
Our fibre Wifi is available in all the guest bedrooms and cottage. Maximum download speed of 73Mb. Est upload speed of 17.9Mb.
Hairdryer
All our bedrooms have a small hairdryer, which can be found in the top drawer of your unit.
Iron
An iron and ironing board is available upon request.
Free Parking
Parking is available in the designated parking area, opposite the front of the building along the edge of The Green.
Tea & Coffee Facilities
Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh milk and bottled water are provided in all ensuite guest bedrooms.
Bed Linen Included
Soft towels and fresh bed linen are provided for your stay. Replacements are always available upon request.
Alcoholic Beverages
A small number of alcoholic beverages and soft drinks are are available to purchase upon request.
Complimentary Toiletries
We provide lovely Cole and Lewis toiletries for you to enjoy throughout your stay, in refillable dispensers. We do not use single use products.
TV with Netflix
A flat screen TV pre-installed with Netflix is available in all of our accommodation.
Room Fridge
Our ensuite bedrooms in the main house have a silent fridge and Willow Cottage is equipped with a small fridge-freezer.
Check in & Check out
Check in between 4pm and 6pm. Check out by 10am
If you will be arriving outside of these times, please let us know and we can arrange for you to use our simple self-check in facility.
A later check out (11am) is available in Great Burnet and Willow Cottage upon request.
